A Moose Appears to Save Three Cats From the F.lo.od!

Animals are WAY smarter than we think…

Animals have been showing more compassion than humans lately. We could learn from them!

California officials have released images of a moose appearing to rescue three campground cats during heavy [f.lo.odi.ng], along with a reminder that pets shouldn’t have to depend on a chance encounter to [survive].

The pictures show the soaked cats huddled against the bases of the animal’s antlers as it wades through muddy water covering a campground. A second image captures the moose approaching higher ground with all three cats still aboard, tucked close together above the current.

The unusual sight has drawn plenty of affection, but the message accompanying the images asks residents to bring their animals inside before heavy rain arrives and include them in any evacuation plans.

Even familiar outdoor spaces can become dangerous when water rises quickly, leaving animals with nowhere to retreat. As the reminder puts it, “We’re glad this moose was there. We can’t expect one to show up for every pet [le.ft] outside.”

Animals are clearly more compassionate towards one another than humans!
This shows you how animals know more about empathy and compassion than us humans do.
