What a brave dog was she, protecting her family right up till the end, she’s crossed the rainbow bridge, she’s smiling right now.♥️♥️♥️
They are [in.noc.ent] beings, and their loyalty and love are unconditional, which is a big difference compared with humans.
The incident happened in April at the home of Moana’s owner, Jericho Bernarte Macua.
Moana was the first to sense that something was wrong.
She suddenly began barking and behaving unusually near the family’s stairs. When Macua investigated, he discovered a cobra hiding beneath the steps inside the house.
Moana had already placed herself between the snake and her family.
Without backing away, the small dog attacked the cobra and sank her teeth into it. During the struggle, however, the cobra managed to bite her and inject its [ve.no.m].
Moana [seriously] [in.jur.ed] the snake, allowing Macua to finish it off before it could move farther into the home.
After the confrontation, Moana sat beside the [de.fe.ated] cobra as her photograph was [ta.ken]. Her mouth was open and her face carried the innocent expression that would later touch millions of people around the world.
But Moana had been [bi.tt.en] during the fight.
The cobra’s [ve.no.m] proved [fa.tal], and she [di.ed] after protecting the family she loved.
The Macua family was [de.vast.ated] by her [de.ath], but they were also deeply grateful. Moana’s barking had alerted them to a [de.adly thre.at] hiding only feet away inside their home.
She was small.
She had no idea that people around the world would one day know her name.
She simply saw [da.ng.er] near her family—and refused to let it pass.
What a magnificent little soul. Heaven certainly gained one hell of a dog that day.
