A mischievous baby elephant in India has found what he believes is the perfect place to satisfy his love for bananas. There’s just one problem: every time he tries to sneak away with his favorite treat, his mother catches him in the act!
And what she does next has left a local fruit seller both amused and amazed.
It all started when the owner of a small roadside fruit stall noticed that bunches of ripe bananas kept mysteriously disappearing. His shop stood along a road frequently traveled by wild elephants moving between nearby areas and the forest. Over time, he had grown accustomed to seeing these gentle giants pass by.
But one young visitor had developed a rather expensive habit.
Unlike the other elephants, who simply continued on their way, this curious little calf seemed unable to resist the bananas displayed at the stall. Whenever he spotted an opportunity, he would quietly approach, stretch out his trunk, grab a bunch, and hurry off as if he had just pulled off the perfect getaway.
The shop owner found the little thief more amusing than troublesome. Instead of chasing the elephants away, he often stayed inside and watched the calf’s cheeky attempts.

The baby’s mother wasn’t about to let her little troublemaker get away with stealing!
