We humans could learn a lot from animals!!
Elephants are one of the smartest and most empathetic animals in the planet.
Nature looks out for its self when in need nature shows how to need one another to survive.
After heavy [fl.oo.ding] hit parts of Nepal, rescue teams were searching through [fl.oo.ded] roads and riverbanks, looking for anyone still [tr.app.ed] by the strong current.
That’s when one volunteer noticed something moving through the water. It was a wild elephant [fi.ght.ing] against the current, moving slowly but firmly through the [fl.ood].
A few feet ahead, a red panda was struggling in the water, too small to [fight] the pull on its own. The elephant reached it just in time, gently lifted it with its trunk, and helped place the soaked red panda onto its back before walking toward higher ground.
The volunteer said the moment stayed with him because the elephant did the same thing rescuers were trying to do that day. It reached out to help another life in [da.ng.er].
He said the saddest and most beautiful part of [di.sast.ers] is that everyone comes together, sometimes even the animals.
That was the same elephant rescued people struggling under the current river!
A blessing that this event was seen & recorded to remind us that animals can help others in [d.istre.ss].
