Closest living relative to the saber tooth tiger!

She weighs a little over two pounds, about the size of a large pineapple, and is being hand-raised by keepers in the zoo’s nursery. Her parents are Jewels and Bruce, and this is their fourth cub together.
Clouded leopards are one of the most elusive cats on Earth. They live high in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and are such extraordinary climbers that they can hang upside down from tree branches by their back feet, or descend a tree head-first because their ankles rotate almost 180 degrees.
Relative to their body size, they also have the longest canine teeth of any cat alive today, which is why they’re sometimes called modern-day saber-tooths.
Because of [de.for.esta.tion], [po.ach.ing], and the illegal pet trade, only around 10,000 are left in the wild.
She also might be the most adorable thing on the planet.
Here’s hoping there are more born in zoos, the species might not become ex.ti.nct.
Merry meet little one! Blessings! ❤️🧙🏻♂️✨💫
