A Care Bear ♥️
The bear did not seek out the man for warmth. The bear sought out the man to silently provide the man with life saving warmth thru the night. That probably was his first time getting close to a human.
Homeless man in Big Bear woke up itchy and confused, until the store owner showed him what slept beside him overnight.
In Big Bear, a homeless man had fallen asleep outside a closed store, wrapped in his sleeping bag near the front wall to stay out of the cold.
That night, the store’s CCTV camera captured a wild bear slowly walking up to him. At first, the bear only sniffed his bag.
Then it circled him, nudged the blanket, and seemed confused when the man shifted in his sleep. Instead of running away, the bear settled down beside him, using the warmth of the sleeping bag like it had found shelter from the cold too. For hours, the two slept peacefully.
By morning, the bear was gone, and the man woke up scratching his arms and shoulders, wondering why his blanket and hair were covered in thick fur. When the store owner showed him the footage, he didn’t believe it at first.

Then he looked at the bear hair still stuck to his sleeping bag. The owner told him he needed to be more careful sleeping there, because next time he might not wake up so lucky. The man packed up and left later that day.
He thought he had just slept through another cold night, but the camera showed he had shared it with a bear.
Sometimes love and mercy comes from the most unlikely places. He can say he got a real bear hug🥹
