A baby Borneo pygmy elephant has become an internet sensation after people nicknamed him the “Elephantest Elephant” because of his adorably exaggerated features.
With oversized ears, a tiny trunk, a round body, and short legs, the calf looks almost like a cartoon version of an elephant brought to life.
Photos and videos of the youngster quickly spread across social media, winning hearts around the world. Beyond the cuteness, the viral attention has also drawn interest to Borneo pygmy elephants, the smallest elephant subspecies on Earth.
The little elephant went viral after people noticed his round belly, tiny legs and adorable little walk.
Some of the other elephants appeared to push him around and bother him, making viewers feel protective of the tiny calf.
