Some dogs connect with people instantly, not through dramatic stories but through a spirit that shines the moment you see them. That was the case with Burreaux, a black Labrador Retriever mix puppy whose bright eyes and charming toothy grin would eventually win hearts across the internet. Burreaux and his two siblings were found when they were about eight weeks old and brought to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana.
