A high-definition nest camera in Lancaster County has captured a scene that has left thousands of viewers in a state of deep anxiety and mourning this morning. In what is being described as a [“critical biological fa.ilu.re],” a mature female eagle—a bird that has successfully fledged over a dozen chicks in this territory—was found [co.lla.psed] and motionless in the center of her nest.
