Every living soul deserves to be loved by someone or something.

This a measure of love that judges everyone. How can anyone [di.sca.rd] an animal needing help and love?
I never could in all my life earth.
I figured a street cat would bolt, but the second I crouched down, she pressed herself against my pant leg. Her purr was so loud and her eyes looked so pleading, like she was practically begging for a little affection. That settled it for me—I just scooped her up and took her home.
Who would’ve guessed this tiny stray would turn into my shadow? The moment I walk through the door, she sticks to me like Velcro. The second I sit on the couch, she claims my lap and curls into a fluffy little ball. And at night, if I shift even slightly in my sleep, she jolts awake, tilts her head, and stares at me like she has to check every few seconds that I’m still there.

That anxious, careful side of her breaks my heart—she must’ve had a really hard time out there.
Now she doesn’t even try to run, not even if the front door is wide open. At the smallest unfamiliar sound, she darts right back into the safety of the house.
Sure, when she’s shedding, there’s fur floating everywhere, but being greeted at the door by a tiny whirlwind—and falling asleep knowing there’s a warm, breathing little life beside you—that’s priceless. Friends might say she isn’t some fancy, purebred beauty, but to me, this little soul who clings to me so completely is the most valuable treasure in the world.
It’s the best feeling in the world when suddenly, they realize they are safe, and loved…
Cats & dogs know when we need them. We give each other the love we need , at the right timing💜🙏🏻💫
