She was found in a Memphis neighborhood after someone allegedly set her on [fi.re], and neighbors rushed to save her by using water from hoses and swimming pools to put out the [fl.am.es]. Thanks to their quick actions, Riona survived and was rushed into veterinary care.
The young Pit Bull mix suffered [de.vast.ating] [bu.rns] over much of her body and spent months undergoing surgeries, [w.ou.nd] care, pain management, and rehabilitation.
